Jeb Dunnuck is lovin' the 21s!
Jeb Dunnuck, preeminent wine critic, reviewed our 2021 Quin's Vineyard Pinot Noir and Syrah — and the comments are wonderful.

His reviews are the kind of recognition we dream about as a tiny estate producer.
About the ‘21 Quin’s Vineyard Pinot Noir: Sporting a translucent ruby hue, the 2021 Etnyre Quin’s Vineyard Pinot Noir has good intensity in its darker raspberry and strawberry fruits as well as notes of white pepper and leafy herbs/underbrush. It’s medium-bodied, mid-weight, elegant, and has terrific balance as well as outstanding length (90).
About the ‘21 Quin’s Vineyard Syrah: Moving to the 2021 Etnyre Wines Quin's Vineyard, which is a blend of 98% Syrah and 2% Torrontes, it has a darker plum hue as well as a gamey, classic cool-climate Syrah nose of blackberries, bouquet garni, California bay, and peppery game. This carries to a medium-bodied Syrah with a balanced, rounded mouthfeel, nicely integrated acidity, and a great finish. It's a beautiful wine to drink over the coming 8-10 years or so (92).
These two wines from Etnyre Wines are made by Ethan Etnyre and come from the cooler San Luis Obispo Coast AVA, which is just west of Paso Robles, up against the Pacific Ocean. These are elegant wines that shine for their aromatics and balance.
